GET INVOLVED

What is it?

The Big Step is a carefully crafted transition programme, led by experienced teachers. It runs for one week during the summer holiday, hosted at your child's new secondary school.

Why does it help?

Our programme ensures that students start secondary school feeling confident and prepared, rather than anxious about the changes ahead. By building friendships, developing key skills, and tackling common worries in a fun and supportive environment, they begin their new chapter with excitement rather than uncertainty.

Learning

We spark curiosity and inspire a love for learning through an engaging programme that is both fun and meaningful, equipping students with valuable skills for their transition to secondary school.

Timetable

Our timetable is dynamic, engaging, and designed with clear outcomes in mind. Explore some of the exciting activities we offer as part of our programme.

Tailored

Our programme is customised for each school, ensuring that every student receives the support they need. We equip them with the confidence and strategies to navigate their transition smoothly, without setbacks.
