Our Team

Gary Hayes


Gary completed his teacher training at University Marjon receiving a Bachelor of Education in secondary schools. He then went onto complete his Masters a few years later. Gary has over 12 years of teaching experience across mainstream education and alternative provision, specialising in Physical Education and Science. Gary is now Interim Headteacher at a behavioural school in Devon, where he oversees a small team of teachers and youth workers.

Dan Leverton


Dan received a Bachelor of Education degree, specialising in secondary school Physical Education. He has worked in a number of schools in the South West and is currently Head of a small P.E. department and designated teacher for looked after children. 

He has many years experience within primary to secondary school transitions, planning and delivering a number of summer programmes to schools within Exeter, whilst working for Exeter City Football Club.

Lisa Money


Lisa has over 10 years of experience in education. She has a BA honours degree in English literature and underwent her PGCE in English and Drama at Exeter University. Having taught English in mainstream schools for 7 years, she is now working within alternative provision, where she is head of English. Lisa works with young people who are disengaged with education with the hope of getting them back on track. She is also deputy safeguarding officer. 

Jack Gill


Jack graduated from Marjon University with a Coaching and fitness degree and certificate in education. He has worked at Exeter College for over 8 years and is programme manager and lecturer of the football coaching and development foundation degree, BTEC sport and A level PE. Jack is also a UEFA B licenced football  coach, and an academy coach at Exeter City Football Club and Exeter College.

Laura Bush


Laura has worked with vulnerable children for over 10 years, working in an alternative education provision for those disengaged with school. Within her role as a senior youth worker, Laura worked closely with students, offering 1:1 support and Post 16 guidance. Having also worked in school as deputy safeguarding officer, Laura has now taken on a new role as head of house at Newton Abbot College. 

Emily Jessica


Emily has a Degree in Education after undertaking her teacher training (PGCE) at Exeter University. With over 5 years experience in primary schools, Emily has worked as a teacher across all primary year groups. Emily is currently department head of Religious Education, PSHE, and also delivers forestry school. This year she is teaching both years 1 & 2 in a primary school in Devon.

Chloe Williams


Chloe graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan  University with a degree in sport and physical education. She then went onto study at the University of Exeter to gain her PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) specialising in secondary school physical education. She previously worked at Teignmouth Community College and is now at Worle Community school as a teacher of girls PE. She has also had multiple experiences of working on summer programmes within Exeter which many are linked with Exeter City Football Club. 

Chey Bryce


Chey graduated from Marjon University with a Bachelor of Education in secondary school (PE). He is now the head of PE at Mount Tamar school in Plymouth. Chey has recently taken part in pivotal behaviour specialist training and is now an instructor. Chey is also joint owner of ‘Circuit Fit’, a personal training company in Plymouth. Circuit fit aims to help people with their specific health and fitness goals; body fat-loss, improving body shape, sport specific training, or simply becoming fitter. Circuit fit featured at Teign schools summer programme and was a huge success.
